The first Superintendent's Open Door Session of the 2025-2026 school year will take place from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29. Time with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Micah Stauffer is on a first-come, first-served basis, at the school system's main office at 2424 Northgate Drive, Salisbury.
Reminders: The 1st marking term will end Thursday, Oct. 30. On Friday, Oct. 31, schools have a professional day for staff, and students do not attend.

Parkside CTE putting on scares for Hollow Halls. Thank you to all who volunteered and those who attended.










Parkside CTE Cisco Networking Academy students competed today in Round 1 of the CyberPatriot competition. Students competed against other high school students across the country today. Although we won't know the scores yet, these students set high standard as many were first time competitors and they did a great job. They will continue to train for the next round in November. Please congratulate the following students for a job well done. Level 1 students Elliott Demone, Eric Dutan Acevedo, Christian Jones, Derick Limage, Iverson Marcelin. Level 2 students. Sheraz Ahmad, Blake Brown, Vincent Cuomo, Vincent Pruitt, and Edgar Valdez Rivera.


Parkside CTE students from Criminal Justice and Cisco Networking Academy went to the International Spy Museum to see what being a spy is all about. Many things learned, lots of fun had, and even made it to the Monument. Learning and having fun. What could be better!

Note for Wednesday, Oct. 1: Term 1 mid-term progress reports will come out Oct. 1 for students in grades 1-12. Be sure to review the progress report with the student to celebrate successes and set goals at the midpoint of the marking term.

Wicomico County Public Schools and the Wicomico County Board of Education extend their condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of former Superintendent of Schools William T. "Bill" Middleton III. Mr. Middleton served the school system for 40 years and continued to serve his community and public education long after his retirement.
Originally hired as a member of the summer paint crew and then as a teacher, Mr. Middleton held a number of positions with the school system, retiring after serving as Superintendent of Schools from 1995 to 2002. He was also a renowned auctioneer, and for many years hosted Travelogue presentations.
