This is a free training for our community and is paid for using IDEA Part C and Judy Center grant funds. Due to inclement weather, Wicomico County Public Schools will have a 90-minute delay today (Dec. 5). Breakfast will not be served in school. Students should follow their school’s instructions regarding the day’s schedule. Please be safe. Thank you.

Our thanks to everyone who took time to nominate one of our outstanding teachers for Wicomico Teacher of the Year. When nominations closed last Tuesday Wicomico County Public Schools had received 803 submissions, so we know our community appreciates its teachers.
We look forward to the recognition of nominees by our schools in December, and then in January the quarterfinalists and semifinalists will be announced. One of the semifinalist teachers will be named the next Wicomico Teacher of the Year on April 9. Excited to find out which of our outstanding teachers that will be!
